You are what you eat – nutrition according to the 5 elements

What are you having for dinner today? And what did you eat yesterday, the day before yesterday and what will you eat tomorrow? Next to breathing, nutrition is the most important source of energy for our body. Do something to make the best possible use of it – with nutrition according to the five elements.

The teaching is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the knowledge that food works according to the principles of yin and yang and the five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal and water). Due to their thermal effect, you can consciously use food to cool or warm (your temperament). In addition, the five flavors (sour, bitter, sweet, spicy and salty) give the food its spice and move the energy. Food is a wonderfully simple means of doing something good for us every day – you just have to know how.

A nutrition consultation based on the five elements includes a personal nutrition plan with recommended foods and a list of foods to avoid, as well as recipe suggestions tailored to your individual needs.
